MOISTURE PROOF TYPE FOR PCB AND PCBA

When we receive the PCB, will we worry about improper preservation of the PCB at a certain moment? In fact, moisture can easily cause damage on circuit boards.

Therefore, it is important that you know what to do to protect your board from moisture, and you are one step closer to protecting your PCB.

BEST PCB PROTECTION

In some manufacturers, some boards warped after the production department used the temperature condition of 150°C to dry the PCB boards that had been stored for an extended period.

WONDERFUL PCB recommends retrieving circuit boards with the same board type, board thickness, similar size, storage conditions and time in stock. Use a temperature of 150°C for moisture removal treatment.

Finally, take it out of the oven immediately and place it on a platform at a room temperature of about 27°C. After the circuit board is completely cooled, the fault can be recovered.

We do not advocate raising the temperature of the baking plate above the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the substrate or 125°C.

Unless it is necessary to remove the residual stress in the board at the same time during the process of dehumidifying and drying the board.

As distressing as these issues may be, knowing them is a valuable piece of knowledge. Fortunately, there are several ways to protect your board.

DURING PCB PRODUCTION

  1. Perform lamination in a controlled environment
  2. Make sure the prepreg is free of moisture
  3. Use Mesh Copper Plane
  4. Surface treatment

DURING PCB ASSEMBLY

  1. To Bake
  2. Coating
  3. Package

PCB STORE

  1. Store the board in a moisture-proof bag
  2. Follow IPC guidelines

Moisture protection on circuit boards results in reduced failure rates and avoids unnecessary repair or replacement costs.

Of course, PCB is a part, and PCBA is also critical.

We all know that one of the most vulnerable parts of an electronic product is the PCBA.

PCBA WATERPROOF COATING

THREE ANTI-PAINT

Three anti-paint is also called circuit board protection oil. The three-proof paint is relatively thick, the heat dissipation is not good, and the drying is slow, which is very harmful to the human body and the environment.

PCBA NANO COATING

The current substitute of three anti-paints has a thickness of only a few hundred nanometers to several microns. Anti-corrosion and environmentally friendly, RoHS certified, adopted by most manufacturers. Includes WONDERFUL PCB.
