RESISTORS
A resistor is an circuit board parts that limits the flow of current through a circuit.
They consist of a wire wound in a coil with a resistive element attached to one end of the coil. They consist of two conductive plates separated by a dielectric material.
The most common resistors are fixed resistors, which provide a specific resistance value. Variable resistors allow the user to adjust the level of resistance. Inductor coils are similar to variable resistors, except they contain a magnetic core instead of windings. Capacitors are used to store energy while inductors are used to transfer energy from one circuit to another.
It sounds complicated, but resistors are used in almost all types of electronic equipment, and they are already essential for electronic equipment.

INDUCTORS
An inductor consists of a coil wound around a magnetic core.
An inductor is a passive component that stores electrical energy in a magnetic field.
In circuit board parts, inductors are often used to reduce noise and electromagnetic interference (EMI) in circuits.
Sound complicated? For example, we can place an inductor between two power supplies, which prevents EMI from one power supply from affecting the operation of the other.
Inductors are also known as coils. Coils consist of multiple turns of wire wound around a core material.

DIODES
What follows is one of the most important components in electronics. Without diodes, there would be no light bulbs, computers, televisions, radios, cell phones, or anything else that uses electricity.
Allows current to flow from one side to the other.
A diode is a semiconductor device that blocks the flow of electricity in one direction while allowing it to pass in the opposite direction.
For example, it’s like a switch. When a diode is connected between two circuits, it prevents current from flowing from one circuit to the next. If you connect a diode across the battery it will stop the battery from discharging.

TRANSISTORS
Transistors refer to all circuit board parts based on semiconductor materials. The reason for its popularity is that it can be mass-produced at an extremely low unit cost.

The most important factor to consider when choosing a transistor is whether or not you need one.
If you’re building a simple circuit, like a light switch, you don’t need a transistor. However, if you are creating a complex circuit, such as a radio, then you will need a transistor.
