How do China perform PCB Manufacturing?

 

PCB manufacturing involves converting design files including Gerbers and network tables to physical circuit boards that can be placed and welded.

The manufacturing process starts with design output files (Gerbers, network watches, drilling files, etc.).

These output files are generated during the design phase, including the development of product concepts, input, layout design and file generation. The next stage includes PCB Manufacturing and assembly.

After receiving the design file of the PCB designer, PCB Manufacturing soon began. The designer creates an output file in the Gerber or ODB ++ format for manufacturing and creates a list of materials (BOM) for assembly.

What does a manufacturer do?

If any error occurs, the designer will receive alarm. Then enter the corrected file into the CAM (computer -assisted manufacturing) system to identify the format, drilling data, IPC mesh table of the document layer, and convert electronic data into images.

It will also verify the sequence sequence, run design rules (DRC) and perform many other operations.

Due to miniaturization, most of the manufacturers use LDI (laser direct imaging).

It also uses a special printer called the drawer, which can make the photographic film of the circuit layer, the welded layer and the wire printing layer to print the circuit image.

The panel consists of a sensitive film called a photoresist. The optical resistance includes a layer of optical reaction chemical, which is aggregated under the exposure of ultraviolet light.

The panel is now located under computer -controlled laser. The computer scan the circuit board surface and convert it to a digital image.

This digital image matches the pre -loaded CAD/CAM design file containing the required image specifications. In the same way, a negative image is formed on the inner layer.
