Using Chinese chips, why is Nokia’s new phone so desperate?

Nokia has released a new model, the Nokia G22, an Android smartphone manufactured by HMD Global that runs on Android 12.

It is worth noting that the machine uses the domestic Ziguang Zhanrui T606 1.8GHz octa-core processor.

The G22 is positioned as an entry-level device, equipped with a 6.52-inch HD+ 90Hz high refresh screen, 50-megapixel main camera + 2-megapixel depth-of-field lens + 2-megapixel macro lens, 8-megapixel selfie, 20W charging, and side fingerprint recognition. The price starts at 150 pounds, or about 1250 yuan.

Nokia G22 is the first mobile phone that focuses on high repairability.
