Common detection methods of PCB

1. Manual visual inspection of the PCB board: Using a magnifying glass or a calibrated microscope, the operator’s visual inspection is used to determine whether the circuit board is qualified or not, and to determine when the correction operation is required. It is a traditional inspection method.

5. Automatic X-ray inspection: Using the different absorption rates of X-rays by different substances, see through the parts that need to be inspected and find defects.
6. Laser inspection system: scan the printed board with a laser beam, collect all measurement data, and compare the actual measurement value with the preset qualified limit value.
7. Size detection: Use the two-dimensional image measuring instrument to measure the hole position, length and width, position and other dimensions.
Short Circuit
1. Open the PCB diagram on the computer, light up the short-circuited network, check the nearby circuits, and see where it is easiest to connect.
2. Use a short-circuit location analyzer to check. Or increase the current check, use the method of low voltage and high current, within 5V, 3-5A high current, the heating place may be the source of a short circuit.
3. Use a multimeter to check whether the key circuit is short-circuited before soldering, and you can also use a multimeter to test whether it is short-circuited after each soldering of a chip.
4. It is possible that the capacitor itself is short-circuited, and the capacitor needs to be tested before welding.
5. If a short circuit is found. You can take a single-layer or double-layer PCB, and energize each part of the functional block after secant to eliminate it.
The best way to avoid short circuits is to use proper soldering techniques. If you are using a hot air gun, be sure to heat the tip to at least 400 degrees Fahrenheit (204 degrees Celsius). You should also use a flux pen to remove any oxidation from the joint before heating it. When soldering, always work slowly and carefully.
If you see a short circuit, immediately remove power from the circuit by unplugging it from the wall socket. Do not touch the wire with bare hands as this will cause further damage.
